Since there are no casinos in the state, there is no reason for Vermont to have a special department that oversees this type of gaming. With that being said, the Attorney General’s Office oversees areas such as raffles, charitable gaming, and bingo.

Overall, Vermont has a strange law as far as owning slot machines are concerned. But when it comes to being able to legally gamble within the state, things do not get much worse for residents.
