The state of Georgia has some of the strictest laws on what type of slot
machines can be owned by individual residents. Generally speaking, a resident
can only own a slot machine if it was manufactured before 1950. Any Georgia

Since there are not land based casinos, the state of Georgia does not require
separate departments to regulate these games. The Georgia Bureau of
Investigation is responsible for regulating the bingo scene, while also watching
for non-profit organizations that are illegally offering other types of

either head to one of the water based casinos, or to a neighboring state that is
more lenient with their laws.
