The wife and I went to Choctaw on Friday evening with my good friend Jerry. Hal also met us up there. Jerry has a slots strategy he calls the Three Spin Boogie. I will post this strategy for the rest of you to review in the next few days.
Basically, it involves finding a machine without a winning spin on the reels when you approach it and then playing that machine for three spins and then walking – no matter what the outcome. On traditional 3 reel non-VGT games you want to find a machine with a completely blank payline.
So, Jerry and I hopped around the casino from one machine to another, playing each one three spins. Sure, there were a lot of machines where we won nothing. But, on a $2 Star Spangled Sevens slot, I hit $520 on my first spin. Then played the machine twice more and left. I hit little amounts here and there, but, that was my major win for the evening. What this strategy does is keep you from playing all of your winnings back into the same machine you won them on. I know I am not the only one who has been guilty of doing this in the past.
My wife ended up losing $300. Jerry came out about even. And Hal…..I swear the luckiest guy I have ever met, well he won around $6K. Yes he makes me sick too.
