I did not believe him and he showed me the IRS Form W-2G. Hal went up to Choctaw Wednesday evening. Spur of the moment thing, he says. I gave him a hard time for not calling me as the wife and I would have met him up there. Hal put $100 into a $2 Star Spangled Sevens slots game, on of those on the carousel towards the back in the old section of the casino by the players club.
He said that it rolled up star spangle, triple bar, star spangle and then spun to red, white and blue sevens and then finally star spangle, star spangle, star spangle. The casino gave him a $20K check and cash for the rest. On the way out the door, he won another $1,200 on a Red Hot Ruby slots game, also near the players club.
It is really hard to believe the luck this guy has. But, I have seen either the IRS ticket or the casino checks for his big wins and have personally witnessed a number of them. Looks like we are headed back up to Choctaw Friday evening to get the all you can eat crab legs at the buffet. In addition to meeting Hal up there, we are bringing another friend of mine along. Should be fun.
